Newly, the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. for persons over 65 years of age (including necessary escorts) are set at
food retail outlets and drug stores. No other customers should be in those stores during those hours, with one other exception. The special shopping hours are also reserved for citizens over 50 years of age who are dholders of a ZTP/P card (+accompanying person). The extraordinary measure announced by the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic is effective as of Friday, March 20, 2020. It abolishes the previous regulation that determined the shopping hours for seniors at later hours.
