The Primary Art School will be enrolling pupils for the new school year 2020/2021.

In the month of March, the entire school was moved to three new locations, the most challenging being the relocation of the piano wing, pianos and heavy furniture. All the teachers were actively involved, and by the school dealing with the almost existential question of being and not being, the teaching team became even closer. After that, distance learning began, which the pupils and parents of the pupils approached actively and responsibly, and communication was thus carried out without complications.

The pre-school classes at the ZUŠ Luhačovice were resumed on 11 May 2020 only in the

, in new premises at Masarykova 137 (2nd and 3rd floor.) Teachers and pupils were very excited about the ZUŠka, so the children came to the full-time lessons almost all of them, only a few pupils from the at-risk group continue to be taught remotely, which means that in addition to the lessons, which are always held remotely, teachers also send pupils other inspiring recordings. The state of emergency also interrupted all competitions of the Elementary School, only the district rounds were held, where Lucie Adoltová shone the most in playing the viola (class of teacher MgA.J.Novák) - she became the absolute winner of the entire district round and advanced to the regional round, which was not held afterwards. We would like to congratulate Lucy and thank her for representing the school. Lucka has also been accepted to the P.J.Vejvanovský Conservatory in Kroměříž and the whole ZUŠka will keep its fingers crossed for her in further demanding studies. Especially in this period children show us adults how they can be creative and independent. They realise what the teacher and the school mean to them and, above all, they set their priorities. They will find out for themselves where they are successful, what they enjoy, where they want to learn the most and, if necessary, already aim to study for a future profession.

of the ZUŠ Luhačovice

which started teaching on 27 May 2020 in the premises of the Secondary Vocational School Luhačovice at 101 Masarykova Street. Our pupils can follow the work of the students of the secondary school, they will be involved in joint projects and both schools can support each other with new, creative ideas. Currently, the Art Department is preparing an exhibition "Painted Baths". The children are working on a set of pictures of buildings and houses that are typical for Luhačovice. Our pupils are not afraid to experiment artistically, to try new, unconventional things with different techniques. If you want to be drawn into the world of fantasy, come to enroll in the ZUŠ from 15 June - 19 June 2020.

started classes on 26 May 2020 in the mirror hall of the boarding school at 999 Masarykova Street, which is more spacious and gives dancers better opportunities for more demanding choreography. In March 2020, the dance department is finishing a big dance fairy tale "Cinderella" with beautiful music, costumes and scenery, which will be performed at the Spa Theatre for the general public and surrounding elementary and kindergarten schools at the earliest possible dates. The Music Department's Spring, Graduation and Final Concerts have also been discontinued, and there are no final rehearsals. This school year is just a little different...the Elementary School will not resume its pace again until September 2020.
