Life in the spa town of Luhačovice continues to function without any major difficulties even during other measures against the coronavirus. The new regulations were published by the government on 13 March. The town is trying to contribute to a calm situation by, for example, not planning to limit the operation of the town office for the time being.

Parish information in connection with new measures against the spread of coronavirus
In the wake of the coronair epidemic, the government has decided on precautionary measures to ban, among other things, events including religious gatherings with attendance exceeding 30 people. The measure affects not only religious services but also other one-off events such as pilgrimages, weddings and others, which the Luhačovice parish must also restrict.

Preventive measures in the Kindergarten Luhačovice
The new measure is being introduced with effect from Thursday 12 March by the Luhačovice Kindergarten, which has been operating without restrictions until now. The facility will only accept children of parents who go to work and are not at home, for example, on maternity leave, parental leave or unemployed.

Due to the extraordinary measures issued today by the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic, school facilities in Luhačovice will also be closed indefinitely from Wednesday 11 March and mass events of over 100 people will be cancelled from Tuesday evening.

School facilities in Luhačovice respond to the call of the KHS of the Zlín Region
In view of the epidemiological situation, the KHS of the Zlín Region has issued an appeal to school facilities and establishments not to accept children, pupils and students arriving from regions with COVID-19 and to keep them in home schooling for 14 days after their return.
