Luhačovice is the second best town to live in
The Zlín Region succeeded in the evaluation of the Prosperity Index of Regions of Česká spořitelna and the Europe in Data platform, ranking 2nd overall in a competition of 14 regions, just behind Prague! The spa town of Luhačovice even has the second highest standard of living among all 206 municipalities with extended jurisdiction evaluated. Zlín and Uherský Brod ranked 7th and 8th respectively.

The Elektra Cinema in Luhačovice has been undergoing gradual modernization since the end of last year. The first stage of the works, which included replacing seats, laying a new floor and installing modern staircase lighting, was successfully completed at the end of January.
