Summer season was very successful for Luhačovice "íčko"

The Luhačovice Municipal Information and Tourist Centre evaluates this summer season as very successful. Luhačovice "íčko" was open every day from 8 am to 6 pm, on weekends until 5 pm. In the period from June to September it served a total of 32 thousand visitors.

Luhačovice will be scented by the Neighbourhood Festival under the apple tree on Saturday

The outdoor space, lounge and foyer of the Elektra Cultural and Congress Centre will come alive on Saturday, 5 October with the second annual Celebration under the Apple Tree event. Apple specialties and a rich cultural programme will be offered at the neighbourhood festival from 1 to 7 pm. The event takes place in all weather conditions.

Luhačovice Korunka helps villages in northern Moravia that were damaged by floods

Practically immediately after the devastating floods that paralyzed the Czech Republic two weeks ago, a wave of aid to the needy spread across the country through public financial or material collections. Humanitarian aid worth almost half a million crowns was also sent by the charitable associations Korunka Luhačovice and Korunka Velké Losiny to Česká Ves, Karlovice and Holčovice in northern Moravia.
