Distribution of masks and purchases for the elderly continue successfully, Luhačovice is so far free of the disease

Thanks to the emphasis on compliance with the measures against coronavirus, the understanding of the residents and the maximum efforts of the town management, the situation in Luhačovice during the state of emergency has been managed very well so far. Volunteers sewing drapes and providing purchases for the elderly are of great help. All of this certainly contributes to the fact that the situation in the town is calm and so far very favourable in terms of the threat of an epidemic. "According to the information available to me as of 10:00 on Thursday 19 March, we have not yet reported any coronavirus infections in the entire Luhačovice municipality," said the mayor of the town, Marian Ležák. "Despite the difficult situation in the region, there is a determined atmosphere and positive attitude of everyone in Luhačovice. Life in our spa town continues and people have come together in a wonderful way," added the mayor.
