Luhačovice Korunka helps villages in northern Moravia that were damaged by floods
Practically immediately after the devastating floods that paralyzed the Czech Republic two weeks ago, a wave of aid to the needy spread across the country through public financial or material collections. Humanitarian aid worth almost half a million crowns was also sent by the charitable associations Korunka Luhačovice and Korunka Velké Losiny to Česká Ves, Karlovice and Holčovice in northern Moravia.

Unruly drivers will be monitored by cameras in the centre of Luhačovice
Drivers who violate traffic regulations in the centre of Luhačovice will have a break from the beginning of March. New cameras have been installed in Masarykova Street at the junction to U Št'ovnice Street to monitor motorists' driving.
