River nutria have multiplied on the river Štiavnica in Luhačovice. This species of rodent attracts especially parents with children, who often pet and feed it. However, the Luhačovice town hall appeals to the public not to do so. The increasing number of nutria is highly undesirable.

The local town hall is not planning to reduce the range of services until the end of this year, but from January 2023 the extreme increase in costs will be reflected in the operation of municipal organisations.
