Parking with a parking disc improves conditions for short-term parking
In Luhačovice, drivers will encounter a parking lot sign with a parking disc in ul. Nádražní, where 4 parking spaces have been marked in this way for a long time in the part of the street leading from the railway station to the Municipal Library. However, the parking spaces from the railway station towards Družstevní are not affected by this solution and will remain unpaid with parking without time limit. From September, on the other hand, several parking spaces near the Luhačovice Town Hall will be newly marked in the parking with parking corner mode.

Luhačovice honoured the memory of Milada Horáková by raising the black flag
A black flag flew over the Luhačovice town hall. The town commemorates the memory of JUDr. Milada Horáková, who was sentenced to death 70 years ago in a trial engineered by the communist regime and subsequently executed. Horáková was a First Republic lawyer and an active politician, a fighter for freedom and women's rights, and in the post-war period also a member of parliament.

The kindergarten Luhačovice will continue to be led by Bc. Jana Malaníková
So in the coming years, the town-established kindergarten Luhačovice will be led by the current director Bc. Jana Malaníková. At the end of May, she succeeded in the selection procedure to choose the director of the kindergarten for the next six-year term of office. "The director has proven herself and I am very happy that she can continue her quality work," said Mayor Marian Ležák.

VIDEO: Krásy Luhačovice presents a new spot
We present a new video clip, which was created to promote Luhačovice in the field of tourism. The clip is funded by the winnings in the EDEN competition, in which last year Luhačovice succeeded in winning the award of Excellent European Destination. The clip was created through the cooperation of the City of Luhačovice, Lázně Luhačovice a.s. and the destination company Zlínsko a Luhačovicko and its members from among local tourism entrepreneurs. We would like to thank all Luhačov residents and friends of Luhačovice who contributed to the creation of the clip with their selfless help and support.

From August, the Luhačovice Primary School will be led by Mgr. Pavel Kurtin, who will replace the current headmaster Mgr. Roman Lebloch. His second term of office ended and he did not apply for the position anymore.
